Our athlete spotlight this week is from two of our StoneAgeFuel CrossFit Kids who also happen to be sisters!

When did you start CrossFit?
Abby: November 2013
Ellie: November 2013

When did you first start training at StoneAgeFuel?
Abby: November 2013
Ellie: November 2013

What is your favorite workout/movement?
Abby: Trying to get a muscle up on the rings! (Remember everyone she’s 5! Wow!)
Ellie: All of them!

Least favorite workout/movement?
Abby: Running!
Ellie: It depends on how I’m feeling that day!

Tell us about your sports/fitness background?
Abby: Playing on the monkey bars at recess and Gymnastics!
Ellie: I like to play hard and get dirty!

How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first workout… what was it, and how did it feel?
Abby: Mom brought me and it was fun!
Ellie: I liked it, Coach Steph is nice.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting at StoneAgeFuel? (before/after)
Abby:With the help of Crossfit, I improved my upper body strength and made the competitive gymnastics team!
Ellie: I listen and pay attention better!

Any advice for kids just getting started?
Abby: It’s fun!
Elie: Anyone can do Crossfit, not just adults!

What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit at StoneAgeFuel?
Abby: Learning to read, more gymnastics,playing princesses.
Ellie: Gymnastics, playing princesses and acting like a kitty cat, giving mommy and daddy small heart attacks each day!
