The Cossacks stretch is a simple stretch that can be effective to stretch the hips and hamstrings. It can be a great tool to develop the ability to sit in the bottom of a squat.

To perform the stretch do the following:
-Sit into a squat.
-reach one foot out beside you, while keeping the other foot on the ground. Do not let the heel come up as this will negate a portion of the stretch.
-Keep your chest up and sink into the squat.

Do this for 1min each side for 3 rounds and you’ll be feeling good in no time!
