The Pigeon stretch is an effective stretch to loosen up tight glutes, hips and the lower back. It can also be useful in alleviating Sciatica related pain.

To perform this stretch do the following:

1) Start with one back and straight with the knee rolled under to the floor.

2) Put the other leg forward perpendicular to your thigh and parallel to your hips and shoulders

3) Realign your hips and shoulders forward and push your belly button to your knee.

4) Do this for 30sec to 1min and repeat for 3 sets.
