Our Youth Weightlifting program is both a sports conditioning program and a sport in itself that kids can participate in and attend competitions from the local to the international level, and ultimately the Olympic level. Currently we maintain several national level youth lifters. This sport is for both boys and girls and in fact more than half of our lifters are girls!

The benefits of Olympic Weightlifting for youth are numerous, including, increased strength, agility, coordination, balance, flexibility, speed, power and stamina. In order to be proficient, a Weightlifter must be flexible, mobile, able to tumble and jump and of course be strong. These are all components of our youth Weightlifting program and something we teach and focus on for all of our youth athletes in order to keep them strong and healthy.

Kids can generally start our program at around 6 years old with previous general physical preparedness or CrossFit Kids experience. If they have not attained the level of proficiency necessary we have a youth fitness program that will prepare them for Weightlifting. All prospective youth must schedule an assessment with a StoneAgeFuel coach before starting the program to ensure that the child is ready to start the Weightlifting program. So what are you waiting for? Get your child started on the path to a fun and exciting program that they will enjoy for years to come!
