The box shoulder stretch is an excellent stretch to help get the shoulders and back into a good position. Especially if you hunch forward in everyday life, work or school. To safely perform this stretch:

-Kneel in front of a box, bench or other object
-Place your whole hand on the box. Ideally the hands will be close together
-With your face facing the floor drive your chest down to the ground to feel a stretch in the back of the shoulders and the upper back
-A friend can push down on your upper back to give you a more intense stretch

Try to do this stretch 3-5x for 1min and if you sit at a desk all day or hunch over do this stretch once every hour that you sit.
