At StoneAgeFuel we believe in honoring our heroes past and present and with that being said we are going to be doing two memorial WODs this weekend.  Bradley will be on Saturday May 24th at 9am and Murph will be available from 9am-2pm on Monday May 26.

Bradley Harper memorial WOD

A 23-year-old Phoenix Firefighter and CFU (CrossFit Uprising) member Bradley Harper had just finished fighting a mulch fire in south Phoenix Saturday night, when a fire truck and ambulance tried to pass each other on a narrow road. Harper, who was taking off his gear at the time, found himself pinned between the two vehicles. He later died at St. Joseph’s hospital.

Lt Michael P. Murphy memorial WOD

Murphy was the leader of a four-man SEAL reconnaissance unit that secretly infiltrated into the Hindu-Kush mountains on June 27, 2005. Ambushed on the 28th by overwhelming Taliban forces, Murphy valiantly climbed into the open onto high ground to make an electronic call for rescue. Wounded, he fought on, allowing one member of his squad to escape, before he himself was killed. Murphy’s remains were found during a combat search and rescue operation, July 4, 2005.

You can partition the pull-ups, push ups and squats any way you would like and if you’ve got a 20lb vest or body armor then wear it!
