Tell us about your sports/fitness background
I have played sports ever since I was a little girl from soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. In high school I played soccer and did track and field. I went to state my junior year for track and field.

How did you first get exposed to CrossFit? Take us back to your first workout… what was it, and how did it feel?
I first got exposed to CrossFit through a living social deal. My first workout was brutal it was box jumps and cleans. I remember thinking there is no way I can finish this work out, yet I feel in love and wanted to come back for more. I loved that CrossFit allowed me to zone out from my life for an hour.

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting at StoneAgeFuel? (before/after)
I have noticed that I am a lot stronger and I do not fatigue as easily. I love noticing the changes in my body and seeing muscle where I had no idea it existed. My health has improved tremendously. I have cut out a lot of foods and soda out of my diet and I loved soda I would have it at every meal.

What changes in your life have you experienced from StoneAgeFuel that were totally unexpected?
Being able to lift heavy things around the house and just always being very cautious of what I am eating. I have learned through StoneAgeFuel that a lot of food is really bad for you.

Please share with us any favorite StoneAgeFuel moments.
My favorite moments are when I PR and being able to push myself with the encouragement from the other athletes.

Any advice for people just getting started?
Start slow and keep coming, even though the workouts are tough there is no greater feeling than finishing the workout and you will always see results. Don’t quit! Persistence is key in CrossFit.

What are your hobbies, interests and/or talents outside of CrossFit at StoneAgeFuel?
CrossFit is my hobby, I love listening to music and I love to dance. I also love spending time with my family!
